The minimalist aesthetic works well in many types of buildings. Not only is it fashionable and doesn't overload the space unnecessarily, but it is also convenient to maintain, which is especially important in public spaces. However, it has a significant drawback - it tends to reflect sound well, causing interiors to have long reverberation times, be noisy and acoustically uncomfortable.
For this, however, we have a solution - Sonacoustic® PL1 hand-laid acoustic plaster, on system mineral wool. It allows us to build minimalist interiors with very good acoustic performance. At the University of Warsaw, Sonacoustic® plaster on the ceiling looks like a typical paint-covered plaster, but it has unusual properties - sound absorption class A. This is what made it possible to achieve a quiet and friendly, though in fact very spacious, space.
We also recommend paying attention to the details of our workmanship - the finishing layer of the plaster reaches the lighting strips and faces them.
