Finishing work with Sonaspray® spraying

Baukustik is an authorized contractor for Sonaspray® and Sonacoustic® plasters. Our employees have been performing sprays since 2005 and are among the best specialists in Europe. We know exactly how to take advantage of the properties of our plasters in every detail and bypass apparent limitations, giving customers effective and aesthetically pleasing tools to combat noise.

That's why we offer our plasters only with installation. This way you are assured of maximum effectiveness, instant installation and many years of durability.

What is the installation of Sonaspray® like?

A spray machine is used to make the plaster, which grinds the cellulose and then mixes it during spraying, with water and glue. In this way, for simple rooms, we achieve a capacity of up to 300 sqm per day. This is a dusty job, so it requires floor and wall protection.

For jobs covering a small area (e.g., 50 m²), spraying alone often takes literally an hour or two, and 90% of the work is related to securing the surface and bringing in and preparing the machine for use.

Sonaspray® installation steps

1. bring the Sonaspray® material and the spray machine to the work site

2. we prepare the material mixture in the spray machine

3. we protect your floors and walls

4. we spray acoustic plaster

5. we clean up the ready-to-use space

Use 1: spray Sonaspray® on ceilings without installation →.

The performance of Sonaspray® acoustic plaster on ceilings without installation offers a high possibility of quality control, the highest efficiency and the shortest execution time.

However, the disadvantages of the solution will be the need to protect the existing installation and the risk of subsequent damage to the plaster by professionals from other trades.

Use 2: Spraying Sonaspray® on ceilings and installations →.

This is a more difficult execution version of Sonaspray® spraying. In this case, we increase its surface area with pipes, troughs and air ducts, which further increases its effectiveness.

As a result, in addition to the acoustic benefits, we can achieve a uniform, interesting aesthetic of the entire ceiling. The execution time of the work will also be shorter than in the case of spraying on the ceiling with the necessary securing of installations.

Use 3: spray Sonaspray® on walls and vertical surfaces →.

Sounds bounce off hard surfaces not only horizontally, but also other surfaces, including walls in between. By plastering the walls, we achieve greater acoustic efficiency, as well as uniform aesthetics.

If dust settling on the plaster structure is not a problem in your project, Sonaspray® acoustic plaster from a height of about 200 cm will greatly improve the effectiveness of the adaptation.

Principles of operation and installation of Sonacoustic®

Sonacoustic® is a sound absorbing system used on ceilings and ceilings. It is characterized by an even surface with a smooth texture. It consists of two main layers: system mineral wool and hand-rubbed acoustic plaster.

Its installation is slightly more complicated than that of Sonaspray® plaster, since we make two layers of the system consecutively. First we install the system mineral wool, and only then do the Sonacoustic® acoustic plaster and Colorcoustic® coating on top of it.

Sonacoustic® installation steps

1. bring the Sonacoustic® material and the spray machine to the work site

2. we prepare the material mixture in the spray machine

3. we install the mineral wool to the walls and ceilings (with glue, dowels or to their structure)

4. we fill any surface irregularities with Sonacoustic® plaster and leave it to dry

5. we make a finishing coat of plaster and leave it to dry

6. we clean the ready-to-use space
