The rotor of any helicopter generates specific vibrations that, despite its rubber wheels, are transmitted to the ground during takeoff and landing. While these vibrations are of little importance at airports or natural airstrips (a meadow), they acquire one when landing on the roofs of buildings.
Such a building is most often a hospital, which receives patients requiring urgent medical intervention by air. Hospitals are unique investments and their design must comply with exacting standards. Therefore, the issue of vibrations and oscillations transmitted from the airstrip to the building structure is also of great importance.
Our vibration isolators protect many landing pads in Poland and abroad. Often we isolate them through point vibration isolation mats, matched to the rotation frequency of a standard helicopter rotor and the mass of the landing pad. In some cases spring vibration isolators are also used, isolating the entire landing field structure from the building structure.
