Sylodamp® is a flexible material used for damping. It provides effective impact isolation. It is useful for reducing the impact of impacts, whether on machinery, the environment or people. It is characterized by high energy absorption capacity.
In the construction industry, Sylodamp® is used in soundproofing floors exposed to impacts, in the form of strips or points. However, it is also used in the insulation of electronic components or the foundation of air-conditioning equipment. Sylodamp® is also used to manufacture machine pads and protectors.
This flexible polyurethane material has pronounced insulating properties. Sylodamp® also has a high energy absorption capacity. Its pore structure consists of mixed cells, and the range of possible static loads is from 0.005 N/mm² to 0.5 N/mm².
The exceptional durability of the material, together with its above-average energy absorption parameter, makes it possible to use the insulation in various installations. Sylodamp® is used especially in environments exposed to frequent and prolonged shocks. The flexibility of the material allows us to create a solution tailored to the customer's design.
