Getzner® AFB (Acoustic Floor Blocks) for vibration isolation of floors are products made of elastomer. They effectively protect buildings, their surroundings and people from the adverse effects of vibrations that can damage structures or cause harm to human health.
They are used in spaces that are exceptionally exposed to vibrations or that require high isolation (such as recording studios, film studios or laboratories). They can be laid directly under the boards of the lost formwork or additionally in the aluminum profile C. For more information on installation, see our instructions.
Getzner® AFB is a product for use in specialized and professional applications, so its use must be preceded by proper professional design and selection, which we serve our customers.
First, we select the type of material, determining the floor and utility pressures we face. Then we simulate the distribution of AFB blocks on the foundation, according to the geometry of your space. In this way, we calculate the number of blocks required, along with a safe allowance.
