In the era of urban transportation and infrastructure development, it is increasingly difficult to avoid the impact of vibrations generated by subways, railroads or streetcars on newly constructed buildings. In large cities, investments are being built very densely, and an acoustic hazard analysis is essential in such situations.
Such an analysis should be carried out in two areas: airborne sound acoustics and material acoustics. In order to ensure that the building does not cause problems for users and investors in the future, its insulation from ground-borne vibrations should be designed and carried out.
Insulating a building from the ground can be done in three main ways: through a full vibration isolation "bath", as a cutoff of the footing or as a cutoff of the above-ground floors. For each of these cases, we use Sylomer® or Sylodyn®, preceded by the appropriate selection and arrangement of their types.
To plan an effective vibration isolation and select the parameters of the materials, we need to receive from the customer: foundation and floor plans/cross-sections, distribution of pressures (characteristic, constant and variable) and information on any additional requirements or factors.
Getzner® is a world leader in the production of vibration isolation materials. Its products are distinguished by high quality and many years of durability, which is extremely important for materials on which entire buildings or their floors stand.
We are pleased to announce that we are the official distributor of Getzner® products in Poland. In doing so, we provide full analytical support, selection and verification of the effectiveness of solutions. Regardless of the specifics of your order, you will always receive a product of the highest quality.
