What is construction acoustics?

Building acoustics is a branch of architectural acoustics that deals with the propagation of sound in enclosed spaces, as well as the sound insulation of the building envelope.

The main goal of building acoustics is to provide acoustic comfort for building occupants. This is achieved by controlling the propagation of sound, which is achieved through proper acoustic adaptation.

What is vibration isolation?

Vibration isolation is another way of reducing vibrations by transferring them, from one element to another. It is widely used in construction, engineering and everyday life. For example - the sole of a sports shoe is a well-known vibration isolator.
